$264 for specs is expensive for me... ; 8:09 pm
Went to make a new specs that cost me $264 after 40% discount given from my friend.
Felt regret for having to pay that huge amount.
Still unhappy about it, I told Cik Rosna about it on the next day at work.
And she really did gave me a super GREAT news!
$264 can be claimed! Under Flexi-Benefits from our company.

At one point, there were alot of fb statuses regarding on the new malay hit movie, Ombak Rindu. How great it was, how sad and touching it was. I had to admit I almost want to write something mean. HAHAHA. And I finally did, but it was not mean.
The main reason I hate watching malay romance dramas and movies is due to that reason; the actor and actress act as a couple, so there's the intimate scenes. Which got me curious, these people, acting is their career, but if what they act is against Islamic values, what about their earnings; halal or haram? It's a natural trait for me to have an immediate dislike for a particular movie/drama once I come across intimacy in it. Although I like Ombak Rindu, I only like for the novel and not for the movie at all. Same goes to Lagenda Budak Setan, another movie/telemovie that is still being spoken of and compared to OR. Alhamdulillah, I was taught of this by my late grandfather indirectly. random thoughts~ As what Brent from Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol says, "We all have our own secrets."

murah rezeki ; 11:26 pm
The conversation between my aunt and cousin about me "murah rezeki" still stuck on my mind...
I'm not too sure whether I understand fully the meaning of murah rezeki. Career-wise, as what they were talking about, I do notice that everytime I applied for a job, I passed the interview and got it. But then again, the positions were only temporary, contract and part-time. The only interview I failed was that first interview of my life, at Swensens Parkway Parade, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise ahahaa. I still can't believe I have achieved my childhood dream; to work in a library. Doing good so far. I know I have lots to learn and more challenging tasks await. But I do like the environment, having my own table. I guess that's one of the reasons I don't mind staying up late even after working hours. Everything I need is there, food, drinks, a place to pray, a clean toilet with proper water spray. LOL. Alhamdulillah. InsyaAllah, this will be my long-term job. There's only 1 thing that worries me though; of being a workaholic. :/
If this is indeed what they call murah rezeki, then, I have never realise it. And I don't think I have thank Allah enough for all HIS blessings.

OK after "researching" through the webs, the ones I have right now, caster sugar and self-rising flour can be the replacement for the missing ingredients. Hope it works!

I feel better today hence I want to do Tiramisu which was supposedly to be done yesterday. But I realised there were 2 missing ingredients- sugar and cake flour. There's self-raising flour but I couldn't remember if i had used that flour instead for the previous tiramisu-s. Hmm. And now, I've to postpone the baking? Bummer. Aniway, today's 01 Jan 2012. New year resolutions?To have the healthy weight :DDNow that's really a challenge!
